Questions people ask
Who will come to my house?
An independent roofing contractor who works in your part of Monmouth County. We only work with roofers who are registered with the State of New Jersey and carry liability insurance. Feel free to ask for their registration number; every legitimate home improvement contractor in New Jersey has one.
Does it cost anything to call?
No, calling is free. If the roofer charges for an inspection or estimate, they'll tell you before they come out.
My roof is leaking right now. What should I do?
Move furniture and valuables away from the drip, put a bucket under it, and take photos for your insurance company. Stay off the roof, especially while it's wet. Then call us. There's more on our roof leak page.
Do I need a written contract?
For most jobs, yes. In New Jersey, home improvement work costing more than $500 needs a written contract, and it should include the contractor's state registration number.
Will my insurance cover it?
That depends on your policy and what caused the damage. Sudden storm damage is often covered; normal wear and old age usually aren't. Take photos, call your insurance company, and keep receipts for any emergency repairs.
